Hawaii at the Heart of Healthy Living
The name WAIEA comes from the Hawaiian words WAI meaning water and EA meaning air. Together, our name reflects unity and life––our overcoming of water as an obstacle and our ability to fuse and live as one with water. Hawaii values community, caring for our land and sea, and wellness above all else. All WAIEA Water Distributors around the world adopt this very same love of the environment, of family and of water.
We hope WAIEA can impart those values with the world through unparalleled hydration, lifestyle awareness and education. By building conscious communities, we leave a brighter future for our global family—our ohana.
WAIEA Water has currently expanded distribution to Hawaii, Guam and Tahiti. More locations coming soon!
Our Team. Our Ohana.
Anton Smith
President & Chief Executive Officer
Anton has worked in healthcare for over 30 years and has traveled the world extensively. He has seen first hand the water scarcity for so many globally. At WAIEA Water, he is choosing to be a part of the solution.
Anton now calls Hawaii home, and he wants to invest in the people and in the community. He appreciates every moment he gets to spend with his family and his dog Charlie, going for walks, trying new restaurants and supporting other small businesses. For a family always on the go, Anton makes sure they refills their Hydroflasks with AWG water before leaving home and starting the day.
Timothy Warner
Chief of Operations
Timothy enjoys making a difference in the community by providing healthy solutions. His hope is that further global implementation of the AWG will aid in solving our global water crisis.
22 years of military service with 11 focused in medical information management, Timothy is blessed to live and work in Hawaii. Hawaii is his home — it’s where he lives, where he worships and where he enjoys his family and God’s creation. He is grateful for time spent outdoors with loved ones, and you’ll always catch him with his 40 ounce Hydroflask drinking more water than ever before because of his AWG!
Thomas Kannam
Executive Vice President & Business Development
Thomas finds motivation in seeing the impact of AWG and GWR technology in rural places like India. It fuels his passion for sustainability. This love and sense of stewardship for the natural environment is what he respects about Hawaii and the team he now calls family at WAIEA Water.
His multiple degrees from Dartmouth and extensive career on Wall Street and in the world of private equity and acquisitions gave Thomas the edge when it came to launching this new technology startup. Thomas, however, has always been a health and wellness enthusiast since his physician grandfather taught him the importance of drinking lots of water for overall health. As he hikes the many trails around his home or plays tennis with family — Thomas will always have water on hand.
